| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, phone, email, delivery address, postcode | To deliver and collect your skip and to contact you about the job | Performance of a contract |
| Booking details: size, dates, waste type, access notes | To do the work and meet our duty of care as a waste carrier | Contract and legal obligation |
| Payment amount, status and Stripe reference | Accounting and refunds. We never see or store your full card number | Legal obligation |
| Enquiry messages | To answer your question | Legitimate interests |
| Website activity, referral source and device category | To see which pages are useful. No advertising networks | Legitimate interests |
Website measurement, and what we deliberately do not do
We count page views and actions such as clicking the phone number using software on our own server. Records include the page, referral source and device category. A daily visitor identifier and the website session help us understand activity. We do not use these records to build an advertising profile or share them with advertising networks.
Who we share it with
Only where the job needs it: our payment processor (Stripe), the licensed transfer station that receives your waste, the local council if you have asked us to apply for a road permit, and our accountant. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to marketing companies.
How long we keep it
We retain booking, payment and completed waste transfer records for the periods needed for accounting and our legal duties. We review enquiries that do not become jobs and remove information that is no longer needed. Website statistics can be aggregated or removed during routine maintenance. Contact us if you need information about a particular record.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (where we are not legally required to keep it), object to how we are using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
